Membership Makes a Difference!

The First Nations’ Emergency Services Society of BC (FNESS) is a non-profit agency, dedicated to assisting First Nations in developing and sustaining safer communities through Emergency Preparedness, education & response; Fire Training, education & prevention; Forest Fuel and Wildfire Management and leadership and collaborative relationships. As a member of FNESS you will contribute to the growth of all BC First Nation communities, including your own, by sharing your ideas, identifying challenges, developing new skills and strategies, and establishing resource and support networks.

There are three types of members: general, honorary and associate members. Only general and honorary members can vote at our AGM, however, EVERY member's input is important, valued and welcomed!

At our July 2012 AGM, the Members voted and agreed to revise the membership fees and structure. Memberships now cost $15 per year and run from January 1 to December 31 each year. A membership purchased after October 1st will be considered payment for the upcoming year.

Our new MEMBERSHIP forms are ready… thank you for your patience! If you would like to become a member of FNESS, please complete the membership application and mail it, along with the $15 membership fee to the address noted on the form. We will be mailing membership renewal forms to existing members soon. If you have any questions about the expiry date or status of your membership, please call us at 1-888-822-3388 or 604-669-7305.
